ALUMNI COMMITTEE ORGANIZATION

A group of three Leadership Regina participants took part in a project to form an Alumni Committee for Leadership Regina.

The action plan included developing a framework for an alumni committee based on surveys and discussions. The framework includes the purpose, type and frequency of activities, membership fees, criteria for entrance into the alumni group, and the role of the web site.

Project members hosted a learning workshop for alumni in June 2004 with a topic related to community leadership. Following the workshop, the organizational meeting was held. The project team presented the framework for a proposed alumni committee and network. This was accepted and the newly formed alumni committee began making plans for its first meeting.
